Day 1: Paris, France
We like to kick this trip off in Paris, and there’s no better city for it. The “City of Light” rewards a slow first day: wander past the Eiffel Tower, lose a few hours inside the Louvre, and pay a visit to Notre-Dame Cathedral. Later, follow the Seine on foot and climb up to Montmartre, where the Sacré-Cœur watches over the rooftops. Since we drive you door to door in a comfortable Mercedes minivan, you can drop your bags at the hotel and be strolling the Seine within minutes of landing.
Day 2: Brussels, Belgium
Day two takes us north to Brussels. It’s a city that wears its mixed heritage well, pairing centuries-old façades with a genuinely modern pulse. Head straight for the Grand Place, a UNESCO-listed square whose guildhalls are worth craning your neck for, then reward yourself with a proper Belgian waffle and a box of pralines before you leave. Because our English-speaking driver handles the border crossing and the route planning, you spend the transfer resting rather than reading road signs.
Day 3: Amsterdam, Netherlands
From Brussels we point the van toward Amsterdam, a city built around water and famous for the art it has produced. Set aside time for the Van Gogh Museum and the Anne Frank House, then slow down with a bike ride through Vondelpark or a canal cruise that shows off the gabled houses from a completely different angle.
Day 4: Berlin, Germany
Berlin carries its history openly, and that’s part of what makes it so compelling. The Berlin Wall Memorial and the Brandenburg Gate tell the more recent chapters, while Museum Island fills in the rest across several world-class collections. Between the museums, the street art, and the food scene, this is a city that rewards travelers who give it a full day rather than a rushed afternoon — and because we build the itinerary around you, that’s exactly what you get.
Day 5: Prague, Czech Republic
Prague earns its nickname, “the city of a hundred spires,” the moment you step into the Old Town Square and look up at the Astronomical Clock. Cross the Charles Bridge at your own pace, then climb to Prague Castle for a view over the rooftops that’s hard to beat anywhere on this route.
Day 6: Vienna, Austria
Vienna still moves like an imperial capital. Schönbrunn Palace and its gardens are worth a leisurely morning, and the evening is best spent at a classical concert or over a slice of Sachertorte in one of the old coffeehouses. Since we handle every transfer between stops, you can linger over dessert without watching the clock for a train.
Day 7: Budapest, Hungary
Budapest straddles the Danube, and that split personality — Buda’s hills against Pest’s grand boulevards — is part of its charm. Climb up to Buda Castle and Fisherman’s Bastion for the skyline view, then unwind in one of the city’s famous thermal baths or take an evening cruise as the parliament building lights up.
Day 8: Krakow, Poland
Krakow is one of the oldest cities on this route, and it shows in the best way — Wawel Castle and the Main Market Square are full of centuries of layered history. A visit to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum is a sober, necessary stop nearby. In the evening, the city switches gears entirely, with lively squares, good beer, and hearty Polish cooking.
Day 9: Venice, Italy
Venice is next to last, and it’s unlike anywhere else on the itinerary — a city with canals instead of streets. Take a gondola through the smaller waterways, visit St. Mark’s Basilica on the piazza, and then just get lost for an hour or two; the back alleys hide more than any map shows. Finish with dinner at a small trattoria away from the main crowds.
Day 10: Rome, Italy
We close the trip in Rome, where practically every corner has a story attached to it. The Colosseum, the Roman Forum, and the Pantheon anchor the day, and a coin tossed into the Trevi Fountain is tradition at this point. Sit on the Spanish Steps for a while, then finish with a proper Roman pizza or a plate of pasta before your final night.
