CAR & DRIVER, BY THE DAY
Daily Car & Driver Hire
What's Included in a Day of Hire
A day of car-and-driver hire gives you a private vehicle and English-speaking driver available for your plans, with multiple stops, waiting time and changes of plan built in — rather than a single pickup and drop-off. Parking fees, tolls and mileage between your stops are included in the price, and the driver waits and drives on your schedule for the day.
Typical Uses for Day Hire
City-to-City Day Trips
Visit a neighboring city or region and return the same day — for example a day trip from Prague to Karlovy Vary or Český Krumlov — without arranging separate transfers for each leg.
Business Days
Move between meetings, offices or venues across a city or region with a driver on standby between appointments, so your schedule dictates the plan rather than the other way around.
Sightseeing Days
Cover several sights, towns or viewpoints in a single day with a driver who waits at each stop, instead of planning around public transport timetables or one-way transfers.
How Day-Hire Pricing Works
Yes. The quoted price is final and includes all standard travel costs, including parking fees, tolls and unlimited mileage between the cities and countries included in your itinerary. The daily vehicle-with-driver rate includes up to 8 hours of driver availability per day. If you require the driver for more than 8 hours, availability can be extended up to a maximum of 12 hours per day at an additional €30 per hour. A tip for the driver is entirely optional and is not included in the price.
How This Differs from a Eurotrip or Point-to-Point Transfer
A point-to-point transfer takes you directly from one address to another, with the price based on the distance between them. A Eurotrip is a multi-day itinerary across several countries, planned around a full route with overnight stops. Daily car-and-driver hire sits between the two: a single day, one region or city area, with the freedom to make multiple stops and adjust your plans as the day goes, without a fixed origin-to-destination route.
